Temperature: Anthurium esmeraldense is a warm-growing species. It prefers consistent daytime temperatures between 21-29°C (70-85°F). Nighttime temperatures should not drop below 18°C (65°F).
Humidity: High humidity, at or above 70-90%, is crucial for this plant's health and vigorous growth. Dry air can cause leaf edges to turn brown and new leaves to become stunted.
Watering: The potting medium should be kept consistently moist but never waterlogged. Water thoroughly when the top inch (2-3 cm) of the medium feels dry to the touch. Use a chunky, well-draining aroid mix to prevent root rot.
